Traditional House of Piikalampi

We manufactured in the early spring 2013 a traditional log house with dovetail notches on the shore of the lake Piikalami. The large-limbed pine-wooden frame is finished traditionally wave carved (piilutus)on both sides, standing solid upon the hand carved granite boulders. The log frame is rising more than five meters high, till the twelve meters long ridgepole.
The sevens inches thick roof beams give an authentic atmosphere for the roof and also secure peaceful dreams even during the most snowy winters.
